Hello, my name is Brandon McBain, I’ve been told several times that I’m in a wheelchair but I just don’t see it! Alright don’t worry, I know that I am and you might be wondering why. The reason why I am is cause well, I’m just in it for the parking (not really) I have condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy and it weakens major muscle groups for example, legs, arms, lungs etc. Some people say that I light up the room when they see me cause they don’t see someone in a chair they just see me and they’ll also say that I’m a little sarcastic okay maybe more than a little. Some of my interests are fixing computers, playing video games especially in the winter time since the cold and I have never gotten along.

Brandon is wearing a black sports jacket made from suiting material and vegan leather. There are two diagonal strips of blue on the chest of the jacket. The bottom strip on each side is illuminated; these lighted tracks were created using battery-powered electric light strips. This jacket was adapted for a wheelchair user by making the bottom both shorter and wider. Magnetic enclosures on the back panel allow it to open and provide greater range of movement or ventilation when needed. Designed to accentuate the model’s interest in computers, the jacket incorporates electronics to represent the importance of technology in the lives of those with disabilities.
Brandon is also wearing a tie made by the Japanese brand MUKU. The tie shows an asymmetrical design, hand-drawn, filled with multiple, muted colors, including blue, green, red and pink. The unique design of this handcrafted accessory was created by the Japanese Disabled artist Michiyo Yaegashi.

Brandon is more than just a pretty face. He has Brains too (pun intended). His interest in IT gives him a very unique sense of humor. The raised texture on his knit shirt spell out several IT jokes including, “It’s not a bug, it’s a feature”. Applicable to both windows processing humor and life in general. This garment inspired at least one other garment in the show.
